In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will be responsible for breaking down complex problems into steps that drive efficient product development.

What You’ll Do

Being the Director of Product, you are expected to lead the entire lifecycle of VComplys’ products. Collaborate and motivate product development team, oversee the entire process of product creation, testing and rolling-out. Efficiently identify the roadblocks an and counter-shoot them to mobilize the product development. Bring Innovation and take initiatives to make VComply the industry leader.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive product ideation, testing, recommendations, and execution on the consumer facing website with a focus on growing user engagement
  • Partner closely with the executive and engineering teams to develop product strategies for driving exceptional product led growth opportunities for VComply.
  • Lead the product team, strategy and prioritize requests according to overall business objectives and create a culture of collaboration
  • Conduct market research to understand the competitors, market and customers.
  • Prepare, groom and maintain a product roadmap that represents the product’s vision and goals.
  • Lead the product function by applying agile principles, resulting in shorter development cycles, fast feedback, and continuous discovery.
  • Continuous improvement of policies & procedures
  • Communicate optimally with all stakeholders and set realistic expectations around delivery of initiatives
  • Hypothesize, experiment, and iterate user experiences, improving learning and accelerating product development
  • Product Owner for engineering teams working on the product – daily stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and refinement etc.
  • Gather, analyze, and document product requirements with the ability to turn Epics into User Stories with detailed acceptance criteria
  • Work with marketing partners to identify areas of opportunity and support them in asset creation
  • Analyze data and keep tab of operational metrics such as user acquisition, conversions, and revenue
  • Work effectively as part of a geographically distributed team
  • Interact with industry experts, partners, internal staff, customers, etc.
  • Financial responsibilities for the product portfolio

Basic Qualification

  • 7+ years of product/project/program management or related experience, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in building SaaS products
  • Engineering background is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience acting as a thought-leader to identify solutions and move them to implementation
  • Demonstrated experience effectively communicating to a broad range of stakeholders, up to C-Level Executives
  • Have a strong sense of entrepreneurial spirit and ownership of projects
  • PMI, PMP, or similar certification/training
  • Passionate about solving customer problems with a strong appreciation for customer experience
  • Knowledge of the Scrum framework and Agile principles
  • Ability to communicate technical or detailed information clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Intellectually curious and not just willing, but excited, to dive deeply into a new area of knowledge and quickly develop an expertise
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
